1. Cut a six foot length of Miyuki Dura-Line beading thread. String one Miyuki 2.8mm Triangle Spacer bead (SPTR28), one Miyuki 2.7x12mm Twisted Bugle bead (TW2712), two SPTR28, one TW2712, and one SPTR28.
2. Pass up through the first three beads (SPTR28, TW2712, SPTR28) so that the two TW2712 beads lay side by side. This will begin ladder stitch.
3. Pass down through the three beads to the right.
4. String one SPTR28, one TW2712, and one SPTR28. Pass back through the three beads to the left and pull to secure.
5. Pass up through the three beads to the right.
6. Continue ladder stitch.
7. Continue in this way until the desired length is reached. A ladder stitched row of 62 beads will yield a finished bracelet of approximately 6.5 inches in length.
8. String 22 Miyuki 11/0 seed beads.
9. Pass back through the three beads in the final ladder stitched row. Continue through the 11/0 loop and ladder stitched row again to reinforce.
10. String one 11/0, one Miyuki 3.4mm Drop bead (DP), and one 11/0.
11. Pass up through the next row of SPTR28 and TW2712 beads to the left.
12. Repeat step 10.
13. Pass down through the next row of SPTR28 and TW2712 beads to the left.
14. Continue in this way until 11/0 and DP beads have been added along both edges of the bracelet.
15. After exiting the final ladder stitched row, pass down through the SPTR28 and TW2712 beads to the right.
16. Moving right pass up through the next two beads in the ladder stitched row. Exit the top of the second bead (TW2712).
17. String four 11/0 beads and one SPTR28 bead.
18. Pass through the button shank and string one SPTR28 and four 11/0 beads.
19. Pass up through the same TW2712 bead that the thread is exiting.
20. Pull thread to secure the button. Continue through all of the beads from steps 17-19 again to reinforce.
21. Sew in thread tails and trim.
