1. Add 26 beads to your thread according to the pattern.

2. Begin 2-Drop Peyote Stitch adding two beads at a time, according to the pattern, and passing through 2 beads in the previous row.

3. Continue to the end of the row.

4. Add the last two beads of the row, you will see that because this is odd count peyote you need to make a turn in your work.

5. Go back through 6 beads.

6. Stitch up into the next row and back down, reversing direction.

7. Turn through the first 2 beads of the next row so you can begin adding row four (note that in peyote each step up counts as a row.

8. Fill in the beads of row four according to the pattern.

9. Complete the flag according to the pattern.

10. Add more thread if needed, or use tail ends to pass through the brass accent bead and around the chain multiple times for security.

11. Pass back through your work and tie off as preferred.

12. Cut off remainder of thread.

13. Repeat on the other side. Your point of attachment will look like this.

14. Attach clasp at back of chain.

14. Finished design.
