1. Cut a six foot length of Miyuki beading thread (adding more as needed). String four 4mm Czech fire polished beads (FP).
2. Pass through the first FP added to form a loop.
3. Moving clockwise pass through the next two FP beads.
4. String three FP beads.
5. Pass down through the FP to the left (the bead exited in step 3). This will form a second loop.
6. Moving counter clockwise pass through the next two FP beads in the second loop. This will position the thread for the next set of beads.
7. String three FP beads.
8. Pass up through the FP to the left (the bead exited in step 6). This will form a third loop.
9. Moving clockwise pass through the next two FP beads in the third loop.
10. Continue until desired length is reached. When embellished the bracelet will tighten and become shorter. A base length of 27 loops will give a finished bracelet of about 7.5 inches including the clasp.
11. With the thread at the right end of the first row, turn left and pass through one FP.
12. String three FP beads.
13. Moving counter clockwise, pass through the FP exited in step 11. This will form the first loop in row two.
14. String one Miyuki 8/0 seed bead.
15. Pass through the next FP to the left (in the center of the bracelet).
16. String two FP beads.
17. Pass up through the FP to the right.
18. Pass through the FP to the left in the center of the bracelet (do not pass through the 8/0 bead).
19. String on one 8/0 seed bead.
20. Pass through the next FP to the left (in the center of the bracelet).
21. String two FP beads.
22. Pass up through the FP to the right.
23. Pass through the FP to the left in the center of the bracelet (do not pass through the 8/0 bead).
24. Continue adding beads in this way until the second row is complete.
25. With the thread exiting the center of the bracelet, pass down through the FP to the left.
26. String one Miyuki 11/0 seed bead, one Miyuki 4mm Magatama bead (MA4), and one 11/0 bead.
27. Pass down through the FP to the right (parallel with the FP the thread is exiting). The 11/0 and MA4 beads should now sit diagonally across the opening between the parallel FP beads.
28. String one 11/0, one MA4, and one 11/0.
29. Repeat step 27.
30. Continue down the length of the bracelet adding beads in this way.
31. Follow the diagrammed thread path until the thread is exiting from the bottom of the last FP in row one.
32. String one 11/0, one MA4, and one 11/0.
33. Pass down through the FP to the left (parallel with the FP the thread is exiting). The 11/0 and MA4 beads should now sit diagonally across the opening between the parallel FP beads.
34. String one 11/0, one MA4, and one 11/0.
35. Repeat step 33.
36. Continue down the length of the bracelet adding beads in this way.
37. String one 8/0.
38. Moving counter clockwise pass through the next two FP beads exiting on the lower edge of the bracelet.
39. String one MA4.
40. Moving to the right pass through the next FP on the lower edge.
41. Continue down the edge of the bracelet. Add one MA4 between each FP bead along the lower edge of the bracelet
42. After passing through the final FP on the lower edge, turn and pass up through the FP to the right.
43. String one 8/0.
44. Continue up through the next FP.
45. Continue through the FP to the left, exiting on the upper edge of the bracelet.
46. Add one MA4 between each FP bead along the upper edge of the bracelet.
47. Pass down through the three beads on the left end of the bracelet.
48. String two 11/0 beads.
49. Pass through the lower loop of the two strand clasp.
50. String two 11/0 beads.
51. Pass up through the 8/0.
52. String two 11/0 beads.
53. Pass through the upper loop of the two strand clasp and string two 11/0 beads.
54. Pass back through the FP, 8/0 and FP along the end of the bracelet. Follow the thread path shown in steps 48-54 to reinforce the clasp.
55. Repeat steps 47-54 on the other end of the bracelet to attach the second side of the clasp.
56. Sew in and trim any thread tails.
