Jessica Fitzgerrel - Lady of the Lake

The doll was made using a pattern from the Soft Doll and Animals magazine, “Pinky, Fairy of Petunia Garden” by Patti Culea that I modified, changing the feet, the head, and the joint at the elbows and knees. The dress is sewn in peyote stitch, and netting pulls the body of the dress, the bands, and the edge of the sleeves together. Grass was sewn using increasing and decreasing peyote. Fringes were sewn to make hair, floral wire was added to make them stand out. The blade of Excalibur was made with square stitch, the hilt odd count peyote, and the pummel decreasing cirular peyote.
