Lisa Niven - Gaia
Category: Sculpture.
Right angle weave, peyote stitch (increasing, decreasing, two and three drop, and freeform), brick stitch, applique stitch, branch fringe, netting stitch, freeform and coiled wirework. The body is a custom-made doll form created by my friend Judy Walberg. The earth is peyote stitched around a three inch styrofoam ball.
